The Heldal Unit is designed for viscosity measurements of non-flowing substances where the viscosity of the materials cannot be measured by standard methods due to the cavitation effect around the spindle. Fungilab recommends using the Heldal unit with T-Bar spindles for comparative measurements of non-flowing substances. A Fungilab viscometer is mounted on the Heldal unit. A spindle is simultaneously raised, lowered, and rotated, allowing constant contact between T-bar spindle and the test beaker. The Heldal Unit is easy to use, install, and clean. It is supplied with a motor, 6 T-Bar spindles, and carrying case.
